BoomerBizTips May 6, 2014 Issue - Radiate Positive Energy
May 06, 2014
I found a great resource today on the web...
www.meetup.com It's a site where you can put in a topic you are interested in and your zip and find others who are interested in the same thing. Then the groups meet.
I found 2 groups in my area that meet and discuss the Law of Attraction. I bet you could find some in your area too.
Radiate Positive EnergyTo build a quality business you need to become a live advertisement for your business.
We are attracted to people who have the qualities we wish we had, so the image you project will determine how others respond to you. First impressions are important when you are constantly reaching out to new people.
Each time you walk out the door, you create a positive or negative impression.
You want to portray confidence and success. But you don't want to be overpowering. You want people to notice you, but also to warm to you.
You want to convey an aura of warmth and happiness. You like people and you expect them to like you. You enjoy what you do and are fun to be around. Happiness is contagious. But happiness alone won't make you successful.
Along with power and happiness, you need qualities of the highest leaders. You need to be calm and relaxed. You live a balanced life. Otherwise you will send a signal that you are paying too high a price for your success.
Rushing, driving or talking too fast, arriving late or breathless for appointments, not maintaining eye contact, losing your cool at minor upsets, being a poor listener, and forgetting names are just a few signs that you have forgotten the importance of relaxing.
We all want to be successful. But if the price is too high, people will turn away. When you project stress, pressure, and tension, prospects and potential customers will think, "Thanks, but no thanks."
Slow down, allow for the unexpected, and give people your full attention. When you find yourself rushing, take a deep breath and remember to relax.
You are not only marketing your business, you are marketing yourself. To do so you have to embody the qualities of someone enjoying their passion. Financial success without balance is a hollow victory.
Not everything will go your way all the time. Learn to love your business for all that it brings and accept good times and bad as two sides of the same coin. Whatever challenges you are experiencing, project an aura of confidence, happiness, and clam. Your charisma will soon attract the prospects and customers who will help you build a dynamic business.
1. Take an honest look at the image you project. What areas are working for you?
2. What area are not working for you:
3. What steps will you take to improve your image?
4. Begin your transformation into the person you aspire to become by making one change. It's okay to be a work in progress.
